Moothee Ram Tuskers – Men

About the Team

Representing KwaZulu-Natal Inland and based in Pietermaritzburg, the Moothee Ram Tuskers delivered a historic campaign in the 2024/25 Division Two season, sweeping all three domestic trophies on offer.

With the City Oval as their home ground and a squad built on resilience and regional pride, the Tuskers also earned promotion back to the big time for the upcoming season. Two of their titles were shared due to weather disruptions, but their consistency and competitive edge across formats marked them as the standout provincial side of the year.

The team is captained by experienced batter Michael Erlank, whose leadership and calm presence were instrumental in guiding the side through a demanding season. They have also recruited well in the off season by bringing in plenty of new faces, whilst in head coach, Ahmed Amla, they have a visionary and mentor looking to guide them to success on a higher stage.

More Tickets on the Way: CSA Addresses New Year’s Test Availability

21 May, 2026

JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) acknowledges the frustration experienced by fans who were unable to secure tickets for the upcoming New Year’s Test, scheduled to take place at Newlands Cricket Ground from 03–07 January.  Demand for this year’s New Year’s Test tickets has been unprecedented, highlighting the significance of the fixture within the South African sporting calendar, with the first release of tickets selling out in record time for a Test match in South Africa.  CSA recognises that its communication around ticket availability did not provide the clarity supporters expected and we apologise for the confusion this created. CSA would like to clarify the following:  CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki said:  “We remain committed to ensuring that ticket access is managed fairly, transparently and in a way that balances supporter demand with the operational requirements of hosting a major international sporting event.  “We equally value the loyal support fans have shown to the Proteas Men as the World Test Champions since their historic victory in June 2025, which all lies at the heart of the game.”  Communication on the availability of the next batch of general access tickets, priced between R420 and R500 per ticket, will be shared timeously.
