The Hollywoodbets Pro20 Series is Cricket South Africa’s premier women’s domestic T0 cricket competition.
Launched in September 2023 and now sponsored by Hollywoodbets, the tournament supports the professionalisation of the women’s game in South Africa.
The Pro20 Series offers a competitive platform for the most talented players, both rookie and established players, to showcase their talent in the shortest format of the game.
Six provincial women’s teams from across the country compete in a round-robin league phase, with the top two teams advancing to the final.
World Sports Betting Western Province Women are the current titleholders.
The Excellence in Performance caps are awarded to the top run-scorer and top wicket-taker in the Hollywoodbets Pro20 competition.
This initiative recognises and celebrates outstanding individual performances while motivating players to strive for both personal and team success. It further reflects Cricket South Africa’s strategic pillar of fostering competitive excellence on the field.
The distinctive green cap is presented to the leading runs-scorer at the end of each round and the yellow cap to the leading wicket-taker stand. Each cap is a symbol of achievement and pride, inspiring players to uphold the highest standards of performance throughout the tournament.
