The VKB Knights has congratulated Rudi Second and Duanne Olivier on a successful first-class tour to India with the South Africa ‘A’ side.
The VKB Knights wicketkeeper/batsman, Rudi Second, finished the four-day unofficial Test Series as leading scorer with his 235 runs, which included a best score of 94 at an average of 78.33. Duanne Olivier finished as the leading wicket taker, just four wickets behind M Siraj. He finished the tour with 10 wickets, which included a best of 6/63 at an average 17.50.
“We are proud of both Rudi and Duanne. We are extremely happy for them and we can’t wait to see what they bring on the table for the season ahead”, commented VKB Knights CEO, Johan van Heerden. “They both represented the Central Franchise well and I have no doubt they will both dominate domestic cricket in the 2018/2019 season as long as they keep this form and attitude.”
