The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced South Africa as the host country of the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024, where the most exciting young cricketers on the planet will compete across 41 matches and 19 days for the chance to lift the coveted silverware. South Africa has a rich history of producing some of the greatest cricketers ever to grace the game, and the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup also boasts a strong tradition of having unveiled the newest generation of superstars onto the international stage, with icons such as Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Kagiso Rabada, Joe Root and many more among the names to have flourished at the event in the past.
The cricketing landscape of South Africa offers numerous world-class facilities that have witnessed international competition. As well as a passionate cricket-loving fanbase, the country also has a vibrantly colourful culture that transcends cricket stadiums.

A revised schedule for the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 has today been revealed by the International Cricket Council (ICC), confirming five venues in South Africa that will host the 15th edition of the celebrated event between 19 January and 11 February, following the decision taken by the ICC Board in November to relocate the event from Sri Lanka.
The most exciting young talent in world cricket will compete for the silverware across 41 matches held at established international venues; Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, Buffalo Park in East London, Kimberley Oval in Kimberley, JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom and finally Willowmoore Park in Benoni – the venue selected to host the Semi-Finals on 6 and 8 February, and the Final on 11 February.
Set out below are the media (non-rights holders) accreditation terms and conditions (“Accreditation Terms and Conditions”) for the Event. The Event is scheduled to take place in South Africa (“Host Country”) from 12 January 2024 – 12 February 2024.
All individuals planning to attend the Event as a media representative must complete or approve the completion of the relevant Accreditation application in the format specified by IBC, including an acknowledgement by each Applicant on behalf of themselves or their personnel that they agree to be bound by these Accreditation Terms and Conditions.
Set out below are the general accreditation terms and conditions (“Accreditation Terms and Conditions”) for the Event. The Event is scheduled to take place in South Africa (“Host Country”) from 12 January – 12 February 2024.
All individuals planning to attend the Event in a working capacity must complete or approve the completion of the relevant Accreditation application in the format specified by IBC, including an acknowledgement by each Applicant on behalf of themselves or their personnel that they agree to be bound by these Accreditation Terms and Conditions.
1. These Conditions of Entry govern all admission to any venue for any match during the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 (the “Event”) and incorporate the relevant venue regulations and any biosecurity requirements (copies of which being on display on the websites: www.icc-cricket.com and/or U19WorldCup.com). By entering a venue, all spectators shall be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted to be bound by these Conditions of Entry.
2. ICC Business Corporation FZ LLC (“IBC”) and/or Cricket South Africa (the “Host”) may refuse admission to or eject from the venue any spectator who, in their reasonable opinion: (a) is in breach of any of the Conditions of Entry; (b) fails to comply with instructions from police officer, steward or other security official; (c) enters any area within the venue where they are not permitted (including the playing field); and/or (d) is in possession of a prohibited item.
1. Your Accreditation Device remains the property of ICC Business Corporation FZ LLC (IBC) at all times and is issued subject to the applicable Accreditation Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
2. By using or attempting to use this Accreditation Device you are deemed to have agreed to comply with and be bound by the T&Cs.
3. Your Accreditation Device is an individual, non-transferable and revocable right of access to a specific Venue and/or Zone within a Venue, for a specified purpose and duration, and has been issued to you subject to the T&Cs.
