DOLPHINS OVERCOME TITANS IN LATEST ROUND OF THE CSA T20 CHALLENGE

DURBAN: The Hollywoodbets Dolphins secured a narrow three-run win (DLS Method) against Momentum Multiply Titans at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead on Wednesday.

Titans opted to field first as the hosts ended the innings on 127/6 in their allotted 20 overs.

Jason Smith top scored with an unbeaten 28, with Khaya Zondo and Bradley Porteous also in the twenties with 21 runs each.

David Wiese’s five-wicket haul of 5/29 in four overs led the attack for the visitors.

Dolphins’ bowling attack was just as clinical, restricting Titans to 74/5 before players were called off due to bad weather.

Players returned to the field with a revised target of 104, with the Titans needing 30 runs from two overs and Dolphins eventually clinched a narrow win.

Skipper, Prenelan Subrayen, and Jon-Jon Smuts returned two scalps each for the hosts.
