
15 Nov Day 3 Wrap – II Trination Series Continues In Tshwane
TSHWANE: The Cricket South Africa (CSA) and South African Sports Association for the Intellectually Impaired (SASA II) Trination Series featuring South Africa, England and Australia is nearing its final stages in Tshwane.
England secured a 61-run victory in their opening match against Australia, with Ronnie Jackson leading the charge by smashing an unbeaten century, scoring 101 runs off 59 balls.
Supported by Daniel Bowser’s impressive knock of 83 off 58, the pair propelled England to a formidable innings total of 216/1.
Australia faced a challenging target and ultimately could only manage 155/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
England’s bowling attack proved effective, with Jordyn Dore (2/22), Kieron Mckinney (2/28), and Taylor George Young (2/34) all claiming two wickets each.

During the afternoon session, South Africa chose to bat first, setting a target of 103 runs.
Mzwandile Mhlongo top-scored with 36 runs, while Koketso Chabedi contributed 20 and Gentley Motalane added 17, and South Africa finished on 102/6.
In the chase, England’s Jonathan Gale (35), Christopher Edwards (34*), and Alfie Pyle (18*) comfortably secured a nine-wicket win.
