JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) celebrated development cricket with the CSA Pathway Awards that honored achievements and contributions at various levels to the growth of cricket in the country.
The CSA Pathway Awards took place at Vodaworld on Friday morning, marking the first in-person ceremony since the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic and signaled a return to the vibrant domestic cricket scene that entertained domestic cricket fans across the country.
SA U19 Women’s Karabo Meso was named CSA U19 Women’s Player of the Year after displays behind the stumps in the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.

“The CSA Pathway Awards aim to acknowledge outstanding performances, sportsmanship, exemplary coaching, grassroots development, and overall contributions to the game,” commented CSA Head of Cricket of Pathways, Edward Khoza.
“This provides an opportunity to recognize exceptional individuals and entities in our age groups, ancillary members and all those who inspire a healthy pathway. Through these awards, CSA seeks to inspire others to continue striving for excellence in cricket,” said Khoza.
