CSA Colts Return For The 2023/24 Domestic Campaign

JOHANNESBURG: The much-anticipated return of the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Colts competition has stirred excitement among cricket enthusiasts nationwide.

After a hiatus since 2021, the Colts are back, boasting a total of 15 teams set to participate in both 3-Day and 1-Day formats.

The teams will be divided into three pools of five; the central pool consist of Free State, Hollywoodbets Dolphins Colts, North West, Northern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal Inland.

The Northern pool will be made up of Easterns, Lions Colts, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and Titans Colts whilst the Southern pool will see Boland, Border, Eastern Province, South Western Districts, and Western Province.

Each team in its respective pool will play a single round of non-classified matches against each other, two at home and two away as per the attached fixture list.

The Colts competition serves as a pivotal platform for young and aspiring cricketers to showcase their skills, providing them with an opportunity to nurture their talent and take the necessary steps into the realm of professional cricket.

The competition’s return is met with enthusiasm and eagerness, not just by the players but also by cricket enthusiasts who have been following the competition since its inception.
