DOLPHINS FRONT-RUNNERS IN DIVISION 1 CSA 4-DAY SERIES

JOHANNESBURG: The final round of the Cricket South Africa (CSA) 4-Day Series will see all Division 1 teams in action from Sunday, 12 March 2023 and all matches will be streamed live on the CSA YouTube Channel as listed below:

 

10h00: GbetsRocks vs ITEC Knights – Boland Park, Paarl

10h00: Six Gun Grill Western Province vs Dafabet Warriors – Six Gun Grill Newlands, Cape Town

10h00: DP World Lions vs Hollywoodbets Dolphins – JB Marks Oval, Potchefstroom

10h00: Momentum Multiply Titans vs North West Dragons – SuperSport Park, Centurion

 

With five teams still contenders for the title, Hollywoodbets Dolphins’ successive wins in the last four matches have put them comfortably at the top of the Division 1, Four-Day Series log.

 

Momentum Multiply Titans, DP World Lions, Dafabet Warriors and Six Gun Grill Western Province still have a chance at claiming the CSA 4-Day Series based on the scenarios below:

  • Titans will need to win and get 6.66 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                          
  • Warriors will need to win and get 6.78 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                          
  • Western Province will need to win and get 12.90 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                 

                                                                                                                                                              

If Lions beat Dolphins:                

                                                                                                    

  • Lions will need to get 5.74 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                        
  • Titans will need to win and get 0.66 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                          
  • Warriors will need to win and get 0.78 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                          
  • Western Province will need to win and get 6.90 more bonus points than Dolphins to go ahead of Dolphins.                                                                                                                                                 

Notes:

 

Bonus points are awarded in the first 100 overs of each team’s 1st innings as follows:                                                                                               

  • Batting: 1 point on reaching 150 and 0.02 points for each run thereafter                                                                                                
  • Bowling: 1 point for taking 3 wickets, 2 for 5 wickets, 3 for 7 wickets and 4 for 9 wickets.
