2023 CSA U16 Hub Challenge Fixtures And Teams Announced

JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the squads that will take part in the 2023 CSA Under-16 Hubs Challenge.

This year’ tournament will consist of two editions of eight-teams each, split in-between the Coastal and Inland teams from all 16 CSA affiliates.

The Coastal edition will be held from 25-29 March 2023 in George whilst the Inland competition will be held in Benoni between 01-05 April 2023.

The first two days of the competition will be in a 50-Over format, followed by three rounds of T20s. Cricket South Africa’s Mass Participation Manager, David Mokopanele, commented on the upcoming tournaments;

“The CSA Hubs Challenge always provides an exciting time in the pipeline as it plays a huge role in CSA’s development programmes.

“We are continuously looking for ways to improve these structures, which are integral to CSA’s goal of bringing cricket to the masses.

“Our systems provide a competitive platform from a young age, to ensure we not only nurture a healthy pipeline, but also produce all-round individuals who can play a role in building our society,” said Mokopanele.
