Rilee Rossouw is a highly-rated left-hand top-order batsman who began his first-class career at No. 3 for Free State.

He played for South African Schools in 2006 and made his first-class debut a year later.

Rossouw, who was selected in South Africa's Under-19 squad for the 2008 World Cup.

It was in the 2008-09 domestic season that Rossouw showcased his potential, finishing as the Eagles' highest run-getter.

He began the next season with a hundred against Cape Cobras during which he became one of the youngest South Africans to make 1000 first-class runs. His career best figure of 127 against India A in 2014.

His Twenty20 debut was in 2008 for Eagles.

His 20 over career best figure of 76 against the Lions in 2012/2013.

He received his first International call up to represent the Proteas against Zimbabwe in 2014.
