CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) has congratulated the Momentum Proteas on their 3-0 T20 Series win over Bangladesh. The Proteas completed the sweep when they won the final T20 International by 23 runs in a weather-shortened match to 9 overs per side at the Mangaung Oval today.

“Congratulations to the Momentum Proteas on another fine performance,” commented CSA Acting Chief Executive Thabang Moroe. “To win eight matches in a row at this level is a wonderful performance.

“Special congratulations are due to the new caps who have settled in very nicely. This is a good sign of the ever-growing depth in our women’s national squad.

“Our congratulations go to our captain, Dane van Niekerk, all her players and support staff. We are delighted to have our Head Coach, Hilton Moreeng, back at the helm after his unavoidable absence,” concluded Mr. Moroe.
