The Coca-Cola South Africa under-19s’ second and final warm-up match in the 2018 ICC U19 World Cup against Australia was washed out without a ball being bowled thanks to persistent rain over the last two days.

The youngsters were relishing the opportunity to bounce back from their 138-run defeat to India with a stronger performance but the inclement weather prevented that goal.

South Africa will make their first World Cup proper appearance this Sunday against Kenya at Lincoln Green Oval in Christchurch at 10:30 local time (11 hours ahead of South Africa).
