The on-field challenge has been set: The 2017 RAM SLAM T20 Challenge title will be contested at Supersport Park at 18h00 on Saturday between the Multiply Titans and the Hollywoodbets Dolphins.
Off-field action is bound to be just as exciting, with the Centurion ground playing host to plenty of activities, competitions and all-round family fun.
With only 3 winners thus far splitting the cash in the Catch Two Million competition, it’ll be as fierce amongst the fans in the stands as it will be on the pitch as eager fans compete to snatch a clean one-handed catch.
Just minutes before the toss, fans will witness the landing of the RAM branded helicopter on to the field and the winners of both the catching competition as well as the RAM SLAM T20 First Ball Hero competition will disembark on to the field – all accompanied by attractive model and presenter Lalla Hiriyama and the in demand RAM SLAM T20 Trophy.
Run by Jacaranda FM, The First Ball Hero competition, will give one lucky winner the honour to bowl the first ball in the RAM SLAM T20 final come 18h00 on Saturday 16 December – a first in South African cricket. Details and entry can be found on www.jacarandafm.com.
Also in action on the grass embankment will be the exhilarating RAM SLAM DROP ZONE, open to all spectators over the age of 8 years. Come join the freefall fun from a 6-metre high platform into a RAM SLAM inflatable bag… as many times as you wish!
Says Executive Chairman of Ram, Mr David Lazarus: “The fans have arrived and our players have delivered in yet another thrilling RAM SLAM competition. We eagerly await Saturday’s final and I assure you that those present will be as pleased with our off-field activations as the on-field action so I encourage cricket lovers to join us and celebrate another excellent delivery of this beautiful game. “This season’s edition of the RAM SLAM has been a resounding success both on the field of play and on the sidelines. Both ground attendance and TV viewership on SuperSport have been excellent and I congratulate our fans for the manner in which they have embraced all the off-field activations as well.
“The Catch 2 Million competition has been one of our most successful activations for fan involvement and I would like to thank Ram Hand to Hand Couriers for making this all possible,” concluded Mr. Moroe.
