South Africa elect to bat first in penultimate Youth Tri-Series match

The Coca-Cola South Africa under-19s have won the toss and elected to bat first against England in what will be the dress rehearsal to the final of the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Youth Triangular Series at Senwes Park Stadium on Thursday.

The home side will hope to make improvements from their previous encounter against the visitors in their second day/night game with rain predicted for later in the afternoon.

Matthew Breetzke, Andile Mogakane, Jean du Plessis, Gerald Coetzee, Akhona Mnyaka and Kgaodise Molefe make a return after sitting out in the last victorious match against Namibia.

The start of play was delayed by 30 minutes due to a wet outfield, with starting time revised to 14:30. Entrance to the ground is free for the duration of the series.
