6.40pm: That's that from us. A landmark day in the World Cup - Bangladesh completed a stunning chase, Shakib hit a second consecutive hundred - and we had no rain interruptions! On that happy note, this is Saurabh Somani, signing off on behalf of Debayan and Ranjith. Come back tomorrow for more World Cup action.

Mashrafe Mortaza: "(on why he went off) Hamstring was a bit tight but we had enough bowlers to cover. The turning point was Mustafizur getting those two wickets. (On Shakib) He has delivered for the team, every match he has come and done something which is really exceptional. Hopefully others will join him. Last two matches Mushfiqur batted well, today Liton batted brilliantly. Normally he bats at the top, it was a tough ask to bat at 5, but he coped with that and delivered."

Jason Holder: Bit of both. I thought we were about 40-50 short, the wicket played well throughout. We could have been more discipline with the ball and we also let ourselves down in the field. It was just a situation where we never got momentum going as we should. If you score 320, you have to try really hard to defend. We didn't get wickets and also let some chances slip. No excuses, we should have been more disciplined. Having said that, every game is a final and we have to pull ourselves up.

List of highest targets successfully chased down by Bangladesh here.

6.25pm: Shakib Al Hasan is the Man of the Match "It feels great. To stay at the wicket till the end was the most satisfying. I've been working on my batting and it's paying off. (On wanting to bat at 3) I know if I bat at 3 I'll get more opportunities, more time to bat. What happens sometimes if I bat at 5, is I'll come in at the 30th over or 40th over, which I felt is not ideal for me. I'm working on my bowling too. At this moment I'm doing okay but I can certainly get better. (on supporters) They have been fantastic throughout this World Cup, I hope they keep on supporting us."

Archit Agarwal: "This is one of the best batting displays I have seen. Its right up there with VK leading 320-odd chase in 38 overs against SL, SA chasing 434. It truly seems like Bangladesh is coming of age here, a force to be reckoned with"

Pashin Goyal : "This chase reminded me of the thriller between New Zealand and Bangladesh in the 2017 champions trophy where it was Shakib with Mahmudullah that finished it off despite a bad start" - that was a superb game too, in Cardiff. They were five down for 33 I think and New Zealand were hooping the ball in the initial overs. Possibly a better chase than this one because it came from such a tough position.

6.20pm: You would have thought that this would be a competitive chase, even perhaps that West Indies had the marginal edge at half-time. Bangladesh have made a mockery of that. Shakib Al Hasan was the master of the game, and Liton Das was superb as well. Not to forget Tamim's steadying hand and Soumya's jump-start to the innings. The bowlers too did very well to keep West Indies to 321 instead of the 360 they might have threatened to score.

41.3ST Gabriel to Liton Das, BOUNDARY, 4 runs, fittingly this match ends with a short ball that's pulled to the boundary. Moved inside the line again and pulled it well to the left of the fine leg fielder, who could be forgiven for not really exerting himself while running after it as it bounces over the ropes. Bangladesh have just demolished West Indies in stunning fashion. Highest successful chase in Bangladesh's ODI history, and highest in this World Cup..
41.2ST Gabriel to Liton Das, No run, short ball on leg stump, he moves inside the line to try and pull it but misses.
41.1ST Gabriel to Liton Das, 2 runs, slower ball yorker but on the pads, turned to deep square leg.

Thanks, Saurabh. Meanwhile, a story that will move you like few other. Sunday was Father's Day, and Gary Woodland won the U.S.Open of golf with his father Dan watching. Dan was a keen golfer himself, but gave the game up for health reasons, suffering near-death thanks to a triple-bypass surgery

It's been a superb start by Bangladesh who are well on course in this run chase. Handing over to Debayan for the next bit.
